The new Search user interface provides a dedicated experience for software sourcing, enabling users to create a refined shortlist of top solutions for their projects.

With this release, we are launching a preview of the Search Module, setting the stage for the full rollout at the Digital Signage Summit in May. The preview allows users to explore upcoming features, helping them navigate and evaluate software solutions more effectively.

What’s New?

Search Tool – A New Software Sourcing Experience (fully launched in May)

• Dedicated user interface tailored for end customers and integrators.
• Focused on helping users generate a Top 5 shortlist of suitable software solutions.
• New filtering options designed from an end-user perspective (use case)
• Lead generation and direct contact functionalities for seamless communication with vendors.
• Enhanced Software Detail Pages for improved decision-making.
• Rankings from the Compass tool are reflected in the display order, rather than direct ranking visibility.

• The former compass tool is now called "Benchmarking"
• A preview of the Benchmarking tool will now be available for registered users.
• The preview provides an overview of the platform, but no actual data will be displayed.

Subscription Model Updates

To fully utilize the new Search interface, all subscribers must opt into a new plan that includes both modules. The updated subscription model includes:

• Search Module – Focused on software sourcing (available with new release in May).
• Benchmarking Module – Comparison tool for software vendors.
• Enterprise Plan – Access to both interfaces with an extended number of licenses (available with new release in May).

What’s Next?

The full launch of the Search tool is planned for May at the Digital Signage Summit. Until then, users can explore the preview and get a first look at the new capabilities.
