The 25-05 release introduces the full rollout of the enhanced Search Tool, a key evolution of the platform that complements the Benchmark Tool. This update delivers a complete solution for both sourcing digital signage software (Search) and comparing vendor capabilities (Benchmark). With a guided experience and smart scoring mechanisms, users can now quickly identify best-fit software vendors tailored to their unique project needs.

What’s New?

1. Launch of the Search Tool with Guided Wizard

The new Search Tool is live, featuring a fully interactive wizard that guides users through a structured process to find the most relevant software solutions.

Wizard Topics:

  • Project Type: New setup or optimization
  • Experience Level: First-time to expert
  • Partner Type: Full-service or software only
  • Network Size: <100, 100–1,000, >1,000 screens
  • Target Regions: Selectable globally
  • Use Cases: Informational displays, kiosks, DooH, internal communication, and more
  • Industries: Newly revised list reflecting market relevance

This wizard forms the basis for intelligent software matching and shortlisting.

2. Integrated Lead Generation Functionality

A new lead generation feature connects interested users directly with the sales contacts of subscribed software vendors.

Key Objectives:

  • Enable users to initiate direct contact with relevant providers based on project-specific needs
  • Automatically forward structured inquiries (including use case context and user details) to the responsible sales representative stored in the platform data
  • Support vendors in generating qualified leads with minimal friction

Interface Integration:

  • "Contact Sales" and "Visit Website" buttons are visible on both the search results and product detail pages for subscribed vendors
  • For non-subscribed vendors, these contact options are not displayed, maintaining data integrity and access control

The form captures all relevant information and stores it for performance analysis and KPI tracking, enhancing transparency and lead management for vendors.

4. Enhanced Use Case Fit Scoring

Matching accuracy has been significantly improved with a dual-dimension scoring model:

  1. Use Case Quality Score:
    • Based on criteria like UI, APIs, innovation, security, and commercial readiness
    • Reflects how well each solution aligns with the user’s selected use case
  2. Regional Match Bonus:
    • Assesses how well a vendor supports the regions selected by the user
    • Regional alignment boosts the score up to a max of 5.0

This scoring update ensures more contextually relevant software recommendations.
